Trans Africa Pipeline Still a Major Project for CRC
06 05 2017
Trans Africa Pipeline (“TAP”) continues to be a major project for CRC. The project involves the construction of a water pipeline through 11 countries across the continent of Africa. Phase 1 in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania is about to get under way. Last month Mauritania appointed a government liaison officer to TAP and the land areas for the desalination plant, the solar power farm, the brine storage and transhipment facilities and 700 km of the pipeline in Mauritania have been identified. Recent meetings in Toronto have served to establish the series of legal priorities of CRC services that will be provided in the coming months. TAP is the largest humanitarian engineering project ever undertaken and CRC is proud to serve its clients in this significant endeavor. Check it out by reference to www.transafricapipeline.org.
